Come to GIST on 27th!” - Admission fair for GIST·KAIST·DGIST scheduled on April 27th 2 pm Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education… Admission counseling sessions available for each school The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST‧President, Young Joon Kim) will host an admission fair for universities specializing in science and technology at GIST’s Oryong Hall on Saturday, April 27th at 2 p.m. Along with GIST, two other universities specializing in science and technology, namely, KAIST and DGIST will participate in the fair to explain application strategies for each type of admission for the year 2014 as well as changed admission policies. GIST will select a total of 170 undergraduate students, 60 more from last year’s (150 for rolling admission, 20 for regular admission) and introduce ‘Equal Opportunity Screening’ as part of its special rolling admission in a bid to expand education opportunities and consideration for the underprivileged. The event will begin at 2 p.m. at GIST’s Oryong Hall and will be followed by individual counseling sessions for students and their parents by each university.
