Foreign graduate of GIST Appointed as full-time professor at a university in her home country - Dr. Monruedee at School of Environmental Science and Engineering appointed as full-time professor at Panyapiwat Institute of Management in Thailand - GIST to hold commencement ceremony for 189 masters and doctors including 16 foreigners on Feb. 25th A foreign student from Thailand who is going to receive doctor’s degree from Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST · President · Young Joon Kim) during the institute’s commencement ceremony on Feb. 25th has been appointed as a full-time professor in her home country. Dr. Monruedee Moonkhum (female, aged 31) at Environmental System Engineering Lab, School of Environmental Engineering & Science has been appointed as the full-time professor at School of Agricultural Innovation & Management, Panyapiwat Institute of Management located in Bangkok, Thailand. She will start to teach from the upcoming spring semester.
