A multimedia mosaic of moments at GIST
GIST Held the 8th Kyung-Ahm Bio Youth Camp Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST-President: Young Joon Kim) held ‘the 8th Kyung-Ahm Bio Youth Camp’, sponsored by Kyung-Ahm Education & Culture Foundation (President: Geum Jo Song) and supervised by Molecular Cell Biological Association (President: professor Do Han Kim of GIST), at Oryong Hall. This event started with a congratulatory address by Gwan Haeng Lee, vice-president of GIST, and an opening address by Joon Ho Choi, vice chairman of Molecular Cell Biological Association, and presented various themes on life science: ‘Esthetics of Meeting: The Police Inside Human Body-Movement and Meeting with White Blood Cells, and Immunity’(Professor Chang Deok Jeon of GIST), ‘The Science Concealed in Woodpecker Nests’(Professor Sung Ho Kim of Seonam University), ‘The Strength of Immunity which Beats Tuberculosis Germs!’(Professor Eun Kyung Cho of Chungnam National University), ‘Life Science from the perspective of CSI’(Professor Byung Gwan Cho of KAIST), and ‘Operational Principle of Brain Nerve Network Revealed Through Research on Drosophila Behavior’(Professor Young Joon Kim of the Life Science Department, GIST) etc.
