Green campus which utilizes solar ray, wind power, and geothermal heat, demonstrated in Gwangju

 

The Undergraduate Course & New Renewable Energy Research Center which Hyundai Engineering & Construction is building at Oryong-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju City will be built as a smart green building where environmentally friendly technologies are integrated. New renewable energies such as solar power generation, geothermal heat pump etc., and the latest environmentally friendly technologies such as light shelf and light duct have been used.

Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology is being established as a first-class environmentally friendly green campus for the first time in Korea. It is planning to install 1^st grade low carbon type buildings and advanced-country type discussion lecture halls to provide the best education environment for undergraduate students.
