Reducing carbon granule emissions can delay global warming. Korean researchers found the evidence that carbon granule emissions that have been increasing steadily since the industrial revolution have significantly contributed to global warming. Professor Chung Chul team of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(GIST, President Kim Young-joon) discovered that the belief on the cooling of organic carbon granule is the result of ignoring brown carbon components out of organic carbon which absorb sunlight like the black carbon. Professor Chung pointed out that the significance of this research result lies with the fact that after saving tens of years by intensively reducing carbon granule emissions and use the years for turning into a nearly zero CO2 emitting industrial and social structure.
