GIST, Holds Photonics and Laser Research Facilities Experience Event

 

 

Advanced Photonics Research Institute of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(GIST, President: Jungho Sonu) holds "Science World with Primary School Students" event by inviting primary school students in Chumdan region celebrating April, Science Month.

 

Advanced Photonics Research Institute (head: Inwon Lee) runs off the event to experience the enigmatically mysterious world of light by inviting 60 primary school students within Gwangju city from 1 to 5 pm on coming Tuesday (Apr. 24).

 

Five researchers with ph.D degree will divide 60 students into four groups explaining and demonstrating five subjects in laser field (character of light, drawing with laser, making new light with light, laser alarm and laser research facilities for Femto second) and the students will experience them directly.
