GIST Discovers a New Principle of Mammal"s Tissue Regeneration.

- Williams" team realized recyclability by a low molecular compound treatment.

- Published in February on the online edition of ACS Chemical Biology, an authoritative journal in the field of chemical biology

 


The research team led by Darren R. Williams, 42, Assistant Professor in the School of Life Sciences at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President: Jung-Ho Sonu) has revealed a promising result of studies on the tissue regeneration of mammals. 

- The result of the lab"s research has been published on the online edition of ACS Chemical Biology, one of the most authoritative journals in the field of chemical biology. Also, a patent has been applied in Korea while preparing for an international patent. 

The authors and investigators include Assistant Professor Darren R. Williams (corresponding author), Da-Woon Jung, research professor, and Woong-Hee Kim (master"s student in the School of Life Sciences, co-first author).
