GIST(Gwangju Institute of Science and Techonology, President Joong-ho Sunwoo) Technology Institute(Director, Seong ju Park) takes the path of co-prosperity with  small businesses by sharing its research outcome.

Remarkably, the institute is engaging in active transfer of technology targeting local businesses in Gwangju.

The institute has transferred 45 cases of technology to 32 companies in Gwangju. The efforts of introducing new technologies to small businesses with weak capital base have been producing fruitful results.

Sang-huem Park the manager of GTI strategy and Performance Team attributes the accomplishments of technology transfer taking place every year to our focused strategy that takes into account the market and demand. This has prevented the excellent original technology it has developed from disappearing. He pledged that the GIST will continue to seek ways to utilize GIST technology for areas where a need exists and to share its technology to grow together with businesses in the Gwangju and nearby regions.
