GIST taking part in 2010 Korea Science Festival,

turning imaginations into reality

 

 

The "2010 Korea Science Festival," one of the biggest domestic scientific and cultural events, opened in KINTEX, Ilsan on 3.

 

The Gwangju Institute of Science & Technology (GIST, President Jung-ho Sonu) will provide participants an opportunity to gain first-hand experience on the fruits of the excellent researches conducted by the GIST under three different themes - "Digilog Book", "Powerful energy force, water and alcohol," and "water of love, the spring pool." Byung-mann Ahn, Minister of Education, Science and Technology who took part in the opening ceremony, visited a GIST booth and looked around the exhibits on display.

This event, which opened under the theme, "Science for Dream," has established itself as a major festival offering over 200,000 spectators every year a chance to get a sense of the role science plays in our daily life and to enjoy changes brought about by science and technology.
