A multimedia mosaic of moments at GIST
The Ministry of Science and Technology announced that Young-il Park, Deputy Secretary of MOST, and Ramasadi, Deputy Secretary of DST conferred about the advancement of cooperation of scientific technology between Korea and India at the 2nd Korea-India Science Technology Joint Committee.
During the conference, both parties agreed to participate in the joint Nanotechnology and Life Science research agreed to at the 1st Korea-India Science Technology Joint Committee. Moreover, establishment of the Industrial Technology Cooperation Center between the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology and the India Institute of Technology (IIT) was conferred for collaboration of industrial technology. Additionally, the exchange of M.S. and Ph.D. students between the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology and the India Institute of Technology was conferred to promote in order to revitalize human resource exchanges.
The Program of Cooperation (POC) signature conduct was delivered to promote mutual cooperation that was agreed to at the 1st Korea-India Science Technology Joint Committee.
According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, Korea and India have held the Korea-India Science Technology Joint Committee in consecutive years from last year, and a Technology Cooperation MOU was also concluded between the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) and the India Institute Science Center (IISC) on June 2006.
