The GIST Alumni Association and the GIST Public Relations Team held a picnic in May

The GIST Alumni Association (Chairman Seok-jung Oh) and the GIST Public Relations Team hosted the 'May Picnic with GIST Alumni' event on May 12, 2018.

This year's picnic was held for GIST alumni and their families to participate in a variety of activities, including calligraphy, portrait photo booths, and a treasure hunt.

The alumni picnic in May was held at Oryong Hall for alumni, their families, and GIST members. About 260 people attended, including President Seung Hyeon Moon, Vice President Moon Seung-hyun, Vice President Hor-Gil Hur, and PR Vice President Pil-hwan Park.

This year's Proud Alumni Award was presented to Tae-jung Eom of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Jae-pil Kim of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Wan-soo Kim of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Soon-oh Kim of the School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Engineering, Dal-soo Ha of the School of Life Sciences, Jun-young Kim of GTMBA, and Dong-hee Lee of the Department of Biomedical Science and Engineering.

GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon said, "This year marks the 25th anniversary of GIST, and we are here to share and celebrate the outstanding performance of GIST's alumni as we also look forward to their future achievements."
