GIST Business Incubator hosts 2nd CEO FORUM

□ The GIST Business Incubator (Director Sung-geun Gi) and the Gwangju Center for Creative Economic Innovation (Director Gi-ho Yoon) co-hosted the 2nd GIST CEO FORUM on October 23 and 24, 2017.

∘ The theme of the 2017 CEO FORUM was "Gwangju is a City for Business!" and was held with leading start-up support organizations in Gwangju as well as the Gwangju Metropolitan City.

□ The GIST Business Incubator first organized this CEO networking program in 2016 with the goal of establishing stronger communication between small and medium-sized CEOs who have a fairly stable entrepreneurship development and corporate management.

∘ On the first day of the event, the opening ceremony was held at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology and was attended by various dignitaries and government officials.

□ The CEO FORUM's main programs include a CEO-initiated performance exhibition that can attract curious visitors to the venue, IR conferences and networking parties to secure investment for startup companies, networking with prominent investors, form mentor-mentee relationships between local small and medium-sized corporate CEOs and Campus CEOs.

∘ The CEO Entrepreneurial Achievement Exhibition was held for a total of three days from October 23 to 25. A total of 600 visitors, including members of the National Assembly, visited the exhibition.

□ GIST Business Incubator Director  said, "I hope that the networking program of the GIST CEO FORUM will bring together a variety of events and programs to make it the best start-up conference in Korea."
