GIST-Nanyang Technological University sign a memorandum of understanding
□ The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (Dean Moongu Jeon) at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST • President Seung Hyeon Moon) and the School of Computer Science and Engineering (Dean Yew Soon Ong) at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore signed a memorandum of understanding to promote joint research and exchanges between the two schools in the areas of artificial intelligence and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
∘ Nanyang Technological University (NTU) was ranked No. 13 in the QS world rankings for 2016, and it is one of the world's leading universities along with National University of Singapore, which was ranked 12th by QS.
∘ Two schools concluded the memorandum of understanding on May 3, 2017, with support from the GIST Artificial Intelligence Promotion Foundation, and the signing ceremony was attended by GIST Dean Moongu Jeon, GIST Professor Jinho Choi, GIST Professor Kin Choong Yow (邱健聰), and NTU Dean Yew Soon Ong.
