GIST hosts a conference for parents of students
GIST invited 50 parents of students attend a conference on June 20, 2016, at the Ocean Hotel on the Korean island of Jeju. GIST arranged the conference to have a direct line of communication between the school and the parents.
GIST President Seung Hyeon Moon, GIST College Dean Do-Kyeong Ko, Dean Byoung Hun Lee of International and Public Affairs, and other staff members were present at the conference. During the conference, GIST shared its current status and future plans, watched promotional videos, discussed school management, and answered questions about student’s life at GIST.
After the meeting, one parent said, “We thank GIST for arranging such a meaningful event. We had a privilege of hearing our children’s college life and the school’s future vision from the president himself. We have more confidence and expectations for GIST.”
