GIST Entrepreneurship Training Center (Director Wan Ku Lee) has launched a program called GIST New Venture –Tech Venture Entrepreneurship Academy on April 29 to help train entrepreneurs.

The program is tailored to give participants training and insights to successfully operate a technology start-up. Participants in the academy can include individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including government supported researchers, company based researchers, and university students. This is a third year of the academy and a total of 28 participant have registered for the program. They were government supported researchers, company based researchers, doctors, professors, and general public.

President Young Ha Ko from Korea Business Angels Association was invited as the opening lecturer. He proceeded to lecture on cultivating entrepreneurship of potential technology based professionals and global business trends.

Director Wan Ku Lee of GIST Entrepreneurship training center said, “We see entrepreneurship and enterprises are establishing as a strategic choice to change the crisis into an opportunity. Our Entrepreneurship Academy hopes to help potential technology based entrepreneurs to penetrate the domestic and international markets.”
