A multimedia mosaic of moments at GIST
GIST (Acting President: Dr. Kwan H. Lee) and Yangon Technological University signed on November 19 a memorandum of understanding to promote faculty and student exchange as well as collaborative research.
Established in 1924, Yangon Technological University is the oldest and largest engineering school in Myanmar. It has about 8,000 students currently enrolled in 18 academic units and about 380 faculty members.
Under the MOU, the two universities will exchange faculty and staff members, exchange students, hold joint lectures and symposiums, conduct joint research, exchange research results and information, and promote broad academic exchange in general.
Acting President Lee of GIST said, “We hope the MOU signing will invigorate active exchange and close cooperation between our two institutions.”
