GIST Celebrates Name Day in Tigers" Den

 

 

 

The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President: Jungho Sonu)  celebrated the "Day of GIST" on May 24 in KIA Tigers" home game against Hanhwa Eagles.

 

This year marks the fourth name day for GIST, which is intended to advertise GIST to Gwangju citizens and support the local baseball club Tigers as part of its community service program.

 

On that day, Bong-ryull Yang, Vice-president of International and Public Affairs, will throw the first ball while Student Council President Minsang Cho (3rd grade in applied physics major) was at bat.
