GIST, who has actively cooperated with Caltech by establishing undergraduate programs, invited professors from Caltech to GIST for April 11 and 12, two days.

In addition, they looked around new dormitory for undergraduate with dean of GIST and commented that the dormitory was considerably outstanding in the quality of facilities and spatial arrangement saying that students should have the most comfortable and studying-stress free dormitory.
As one of GIST"s plans to expand the cooperation with Caltech, GIST signed on MOU with Caltech for SURF (Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships) to exchange students. Given that, two GIST undergraduate students plan to go Caltech and four Caltech students plan to come to GIST in this coming summer to conduct private research for ten days. In addition, Professor Rob Phillips in Caltech (applied physics) with his two assistants will visit GIST to have full-time intensive course for one week to undergraduate students of GIST.
