GIST Campus is filled with the major science camps.

GIST Science Camp is held across the campus for 5 days from 26 to 30, July.  inviting around 70 high school students The participants are either from science high schools or from the ordinary high school with the recommendation of their principals based on their academic qulaifications.

Another big events is the 6th Kyungam Bio Youth Camp to be held on 27, July. Approximately 200 middle and high school students from Gwangju and Chulla province seem to attend the camp .
