[GIST] Enjoy a Hearty Breakfast at GIST Cafeterias for Just 1,000 Won

Dear GIST Students,

 

We are delighted to announce that the [1,000 Won Breakfast] initiative, launched at the end of March this year, has been a tremendous success. Since its implementation, we have witnessed the number of students enjoying breakfast more than double. In response to this positive outcome and with the support of additional funding, we are pleased to extend the 1,000 won breakfast period.

 

-GIST Budget: 74%,

-External Budget: 26%(Funded by the EPIS-Korea Agency of Education, Promotion and Information Service in Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and the Gwangju Metropolitan City)

 

Here are the details:

1. Period: March 29 through December 31, 2023

2. Project Name: 1,000 Won Breakfast Project

3. Objective: To encourage rice consumption and reduce instances of students missing breakfast

4. Locations: GIST student cafeterias (excluding the cafe) on the 1st floor of each Student Union Building

5. Payment Method: Need your student ID when you pay.

6. Pricing: The regular price for breakfast is 5,600 won.

-During the specified period above, GIST will directly cover the difference in cost at the cafeterias.

-After the 1,000 won breakfast project concludes, students will pay 2,800 won, and GIST will continue to subsidize the remaining 2,800 won directly to the cafeterias.
