[IPA Team] Selection Notict for the 2026 Summer Sessions Program

We would like to select participants for the 2026 summer session program as follows. Please apply for the program.


 

[Submission Method and Deadline]

1. Deadline: January 16, 2026 (Fri), 23:59:59 (KST)

  - All required documents must be submitted by January 16, 2026 (Fri), 23:59:59 (KST). Late submissions will not be accepted.

 

2. Submission Method: Submit via Google Form(https://forms.gle/z55XwbCD57yW5Ppv7)

  ※ For students enrolled in Fall 2025 whose semester grades have not yet been finalized:

    - Please submit the currently available transcript first. Check “O” for No. 12 (Enrollment Status for Fall 2025) in the Google Form. → These students will be contacted individually later.

 

[Eligibility Requirements]

1. Academic Status: Undergraduate students in their 2nd or 3rd year at the time of participation (Summer 2026)

  * Must be within the standard period of enrollment

  * 2nd-year students: At least 34 credits completed during the first year

  * 3rd-year students: Applicable to students admitted in 2020 or later

    → Students admitted in 2019 or earlier are eligible only if they are 2nd-year students

 

2. Academic & Language Requirements

  * TGPA: 3.0 or higher

  * English proficiency: TOEFL iBT 80 or higher (Boston: 84 or higher) or TOEIC 785 or higher

    → Boston applicants may submit TOEIC scores; however, TOEFL scores must be 84 or higher if submitted (Boston University requirement)

  ※ English test scores cannot be submitted or supplemented after the application deadline. Only valid scores as of the deadline will be accepted.

 

3. Academic Standing: No academic probation record (for students admitted in 2016 or later)

 

4. Disciplinary Record: No disciplinary history


5. Program History

  * Must not have canceled participation after being selected for a previous outbound program

  * Students may participate in the same program only once

2. Transcript Submission: Any official PDF transcript is acceptable (choose one)

  * Printed transcript from campus kiosk → scan and submit

  * Online certificate printout → print, scan, and submit

  * Electronic PDF certificate (non-secure version)

  ※ ZEUS transcript printouts or screenshots will not be accepted.

 

3. Passport

  * If your passport expires before December 31, 2026, please apply for renewal by January.

  * Host university registration period: FebruaryMarch (Berkeley: registration begins immediately after results are announced in early February)

 

4. Contribution to School (Extracurricular Activities): If applicable, describe any activities you believe contributed to GIST.

  * External activities: submit certificates or awards

  * On-campus student activities: confirmation from the responsible organization

  * If official confirmation is not immediately available, list the department and contact person instead(in case of programs administered by university administrative departments)

 

5. Major and Academic Advisor

  * If your major has been declared but affiliation has not yet changed, list your current affiliation

  * Advisor signatures may be handwritten, electronic, or stamped


  * Advisor signature is not required on the HWP file but must be included on the PDF file → Please contact your advisor in advance, as this process is time-sensitive
