GIST Entrepreneurship Promotion Center holds 3D modeling/printing
classes
GIST Entrepreneurship Promotion Center Entrepreneurship held
3D modeling/printing classes from October 15 to 30, 2016. Fifteen students
participated in this 4th product development program.
Students learned about the basic theory of 3D modeling,
created 3D models with a 3D CAD program (Solidworks), and printed their designs
with 3D printers. The program provides education, practical exercise, and
workshops. It was established in March to spread an entrepreneurship culture on
campus.
“The training will be an opportunity to cultivate the
ability to effectively learn basic 3D printing and to acquire a systematic
understanding of the design and product development process” said Director Sung-geun
Ki.
