Advanced Photonics Research Institute(APRI) at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology(GIST) invites applications for several experienced research scientist positions(Senior Research Scientist, Principal Research Scientist).

 

1. Suitable Areas include, but are not limited to,

  - High resolution spectroscopies

  - Nonlinear optics with photonic crystals or quasi-phase matching(QPM) materials

  - Optical micromachining and microprocessing

  - Opto-Bio fusion technology

  - Pump laser technology for ultrashort, ultrahigh-intense lasers

  - Bio and Medical imaging with lasers

  - Laser-driven THz generation and detection technology

  - Femto-nano technologies

  - Laser-based x-ray generation and/or X-ray optics

  - Particle beam (proton, electron, ions, neutrons) generations using intense lasers

  - Other optical sciences
