GIST College, Chairman Un-Chan Chung of the Korea Institute for Shared Growth gives special lecture

□ The Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST, President Seung Hyeon Moon) hosted a special lecture on May 24, 2018, by Chairman Un-Chan Chung of the Korea Institute for Shared Growth.

∘ The special lecture held at GIST College was for 200 students and professors on the topic of "Korea's Way to Live - Shared Growth."

□ Chairman Chung gave a lecture on the demands of transformation, the reality of the Korean economy, the social working principles after neoliberalism: the economic policy issues for the mutual growth, co-growth countries, and the future of the Korean peninsula.

∘ The Korea Institute for Shared Growth is a joint-stock corporation established in 2012 by people who pursue "a society that lives together, the value of living together". After Chung led the 'Mutual Growth Committee,' which he established as Prime Minister, he was appointed as its first chairman. He has since been an active 'mutual growth evangelist.'

□ In order to promote convergence education, GIST has opened 'GIST College Colloquium' course from the first semester of 2012 to invite specialists from diverse fields to lecture undergraduate students.
