Instructions for Applying the Quarantine Facilities for Domitory Residents |

1. Criteria for Using Quarantine Facilities
A. Basic Principle: Dormitory residents with confirmed cases are moved to their home (permanent residence) for treatment.
B. Users of quarantine facilities: Dormitory residents who cannot move to their home (permanent residence).
- International students who find it difficult to return home.
- Cases of there being a person with severe health conditions at the home (permanent residence) of the individual with the confirmed case.
C. Quarantine Facility: University Dormitory Building B, T House
※ Within the limit of room availability.
2. How to Apply for a Quarantine Facility
A. Weekdays: Section of Student Affairs
– Contact the person in charge of the dormitory (Tel. 3606, uhousing@gist.ac.kr)
B. Nighttime and Holidays: Contact the dormitory supervisor’s office (Tel. 5800)
- Office Hours: Nighttime (18:00-21:00), Holidays (09:00-21:00)

3. How to Use the Quarantine Facility
A. Leaving the facility is forbidden.
- Leaving the facility is prohibited, except for meals and hospital treatment (including when the occupant of a single-occupancy room isolates themselves in their own room). Penalty points1 are imposed on violations.
¹ Penalty Points: Graduate students – 20 points (compelled to vacate the facility for one (1) month, and in this case cannot be exempted by paying 5 times the regular dormitory fee). University students – 25 points (compelled to vacate the facility for one (1) month, and in this case cannot be exempted by paying 3 times the regular dormitory fee).
B. Prepare supplies (bottled water, sanitary products, blankets, etc.)
- As a rule, occupants must bring their own items when entering the facility.
C. Notification of vacating the facility
- After tidying up the occupied room, notify the the associated quarantine manager and the student team (Tel. 3606, uhousing@gist.ac.kr) of the end of quarantine (including vacating the quarantine facility).
