1. If educational expenses aid is more than dormitory fee

After deducting the entire dormitory fee from educational expenses, the remaining amount will be transferred to the student’s personal account.

Ex: Educational expenses aid: 130,800 won

Dormitory fee: 100,000 won

→ Dormitory fee is deducted from educational expenses aid. The difference of 30,800 won is deposited into the student's personal account.

2. If educational expenses aid is less than dormitory fee

If the dormitory fee is higher than the educational expenses aid, it is usually because of the previous month's outstanding amount remains.

After deducting the dormitory fee from the educational expenses aid, the remaining unpaid amount must be paid individually.

Ex: Educational expenses aid: 130,800 won

Dormitory fee: 150,000 won

→ After deducting the dormitory fee from the educational expenses aid (130,800 won), the student must pay the difference amount of 19,200 won to the dormitory bank account individually.

3. Students who are not eligible for financial aid (those who exceed annual leave, those who have less than 11 credits in the previous semester, those who received academic warning in the previous semester, etc.)

→ Pay the entire dormitory fee individually

4. External scholarship students (Hongseong Scholarship, etc.)

→ Pay the entire dormitory fee individually

The university dormitory usage fee is charged on a monthly basis and is calculated daily based on the time of check in and check out.

For notices in the dormitory, please check individually whether payment has been made or not and the remained payment after the 23rd of each month (Date of the educational expenses aid).

※ If you are using a mobile banking and is difficult to enter your name together with the 8-digit student number, please write your student number first to prevent confusion of people with the same name.

※ When you visit your country for vacation, you have to submit a moving-out form and have a moving out inspection. Unless doing both, you will be charged even though you hadn’t stayed at the dormitory for vacation. Please check this rule !
