Information on the regarding on staying in UG dorm in Winter 2023

The answers below are temporarily applied only to the remaining winter of the 2023 and are subject to change when the control policy is changed.

Q. If my roommate hasn't left, can I move to a vacancy or change my roommate?

A. You cannot be moved to an empty room, and roommates cannot be changed. As previously announced, this decision is a temporary measure to prevent risk factors and may change depending on future circumstances. Movement restrictions are not intended to give someone preferential or disadvantageous benefits to using a single room.

Q. How do I take “Moving-out checking” if one person leaves the room and one person stays?

A. The person who planning to move out, need to apply for the “Moving-out checking” and proceeds with the examination

For those who can enter the Dorm in the future, it is necessary to clean spaces (toilet, entrance, etc.) that are commonly used (beds, desks, etc.) in accordance with the maintenance inspection standards, and to clean spaces used by individuals (beds, desks, etc.) in accordance with the moving out inspection standards

Q. Can a new resident enter the room where one person resides?

A. If there are new residents, there is a possibility that they can be assigned to a room (two-person room) where one person resides.

Due to the prevention and prevention policy, a double room is temporarily used by one person, but it is not approved as a single room. Therefore, the dormitory fee will be applied the same as before. Therefore, please keep the space other than your own area clean so that new entrants can enter immediately.

Q. Is there a process to enter the dormitory after traveling abroad during vacation?

A. When you travel abroad during vacation, you must fill out a form provided in the Manager’s office before departure. After returning home, visit the Manager’s office to test the COVID-19 self-diagnosis kit, and keep your items and carriers sealed in transparent vinyl (supplied in the audit room) for prevention.
