③ Human-Vehicle Interaction and Automotive User Interfaces

④ AR(Augmented Reality)/VR(Virtual Reality) Applications

⑤ Interactive, Mobile, Wearable, Ubiquitous Technology

⑥ Human Factors in Computing Systems

⑦ Multimodal sensor for NUI platform

⑧ AI(Artificial intelligence) or XR(Extended Reality) in the Metaverse

(Topics of interest for the job description include (but are not limited to)

    A doctoral's degree or equivalent

    All major fields related to HCI and interdisciplinary convergence research (such as computer science, computer engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, artificial intelligence, robotics, cultural technology, industrial design, etc.)

Priority Consideration

     Veterans and the disables will be given preferential consideration according to the law

     No difficulty in conducting collaborative research by visiting or communicating with overseas HCI+AI researchers such as MIT, CMU, Washington University, and Michigan University

    Experience in publication or seeking submission (CHI, UIST, ISMAR, SIGGRAPH, ICRA, CSCW, Ubicomp/IMWUT, CVPR, AAAI)

Disqualifiers

A. A person subject to the following laws;

1.     Article 33 of the STATE PUBLIC OFFICIALS ACT

2.     Article 56 of the ACT ON THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH AGAINST SEX OFFENSES

3.     Article 82 of the ACT ON THE PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION AND THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF THE ANTI-CORRUPTION AND CIVIL RIGHTS COMMISSION

B. A person for whom five years have not elapsed since the date on which the employment was canceled due to the discovery of the fact that he or she was of hired due to fraud or misrepresentation.

 

Hiring Process

     ◦ Step 1: Document Screening

(i) Selection criteria:  the excellence of candidate’s publication record & application documents

(ii) 2 x the number of openings will be selected

     Step 2: Personal Interview

(i) Background knowledge and command of English will be tested on the phone interview  

Applicants will only be offered an interviewed if they successfully pass the initial document screening process.
