For International graduate admission, GIST requires 2 recommendation letters as mandatory documents.

Please be noted the important guideline regarding the submission of the recommendation letter for your successful application for GIST.

1) Recommendation letters must be received directly to GIST from recommenders.

Each of the two recommenders will receive an automated email instructing them how to proceed with their recommendation letters through the Google survey form.

 

2) In your online application form, you will be required to fill in the information of the recommenders. Then click the “send Recommendation Form” button so that the instruction can reach out to your recommender’s email.

Please double-check if the information is correct. If it is not correct, your recommenders are not able to receive an automated email.

Also, the information of recommenders in your application should match the received recommendation letters.

 

3) People who have worked closely with you in either an academic or professional capacity, and who will be able to relate specific information about your performance and abilities such as faculty members of the school or institution are eligible for writing the recommendation letter.

 

4) Request your recommenders in advance so that they could have enough time to submit letters of recommendation before the deadline. Their signature or stamp must be included. Please note that recommendation letters should be received in the Google survey form by the document submission due date.
